About Me

Matt Gholden & I share our home in Corvallis, Oregon with our dog Satin and a barn full of rabbits.  We added Thriantas to our barn a few years ago with our many Dutch in numerous varieties.  This year (2008) we acquired two new Thrianta herd bucks, a beautifull little jr Carr's Joey made the trip back from Bloomington,Illinois after the National Dutch show in April and then at the Washington State Convention Anne Ott loaned us Irish Rose Samson.  Previously we have raised litters from Bramblehedge lines & a herd buck from Bill Maris' we call Flamethrower for his deep red color.  We have also worked with Mr Anthony Campbell & Ms Hilary Wittrock sharing herd bucks and exchanging breeding stock.  Recently we have enjoyed working with Ken Motz in nearby Fall Creek, Oregon.  We have sold a few Thriantas as 4-H projects and hope some of the younger breeders in our area will get interested in working with us.

We look forward to learning more about Thriantas and helping to promote this beautiful breed.

About Me

I am retired so have a lot of time for my rabbits and volunteer projects.  I raise New Zealands in the White and Broken varities, Satins in several varieties, and our little red heads, the Thriantas.  I have shown a number of different animal species for over 50 years and really enjoy the rabbits.  I live alone since my mom passed on in March, and I enjoy corresponding with folks about almost anything, especially rabbits, cats, gardens, etc.  I have an acre of land and am in the process of trying to turn it into a private park.  I also love to cook and thank goodness I have a grandson and his wife who live next door and like to eat.
